How to transfer work permit visa maldives?

I have the employment approval document issued from the Ministry of Human resource,youths & sports maldives as my employer is now reluctant to recruit me, can i transfer it to another employer? If possible how is the process ? The employment approval document says its valid for 60 days from the date of issue. Does it automatically cancel after 60 days?

Each employer has a "quota" for each position, if your employer who applied for your EA doesn’t like to push thru with your employment with them, then by default they your EA will automatically be cancelled. Because the procedure was, upon arrival at the Maldives, each expat has to undergo medical at ADK or IGMH for VISA purposes, once it’s done then the employer will submit the EA together with the medical result so that your working visa card will be released – SO, since your employer doesn’t like to push thru with your employment with them, then your visa will not be released.
What i would suggest is that, you talk to your employer and ask them to file first your visa so that the transfer can be done. In the absence of the visa, you cannot transfer to another employer
In the event that your visa has been released already, and you get another employer, YES you can transfer. Your current employer needs to sign a transfer form. then your "new" employer needs to file the transfer and pay the deposit, after 3 days the transfer of Visa will be done.
Your work permit is belongs to your employer, you can not use it to work in another place, if you want to work in another place you have to transfer the workpermit, that your employer should inform to ministry saying that they are ok to transfer.
