I work for a Hotel in Connecticut. Its a Marriot Hotel. When we get our list in the morning we usually have 25 rooms on it and we only get 16-18 rooms done on it. Management pushs us to get all the rooms done and gives us attitude if we dont finish them all. I just wanna know how many rooms a housekeeper is supposed to do in an 8 hour shift!! Thanks so much!!!

I’ve been with my current boyfriend for 3 months now, but we’ve known eachother for about a year. Before we became exclusive he seemed to wait on me hand and foot (not literaly) but he was always there, he would always answer the phone, and all of his decisions he seemed to make with some of my interests in mind. Lately, I wouldn’t say we’ve been having problems persay, but I can definately notice some changes in him. He’s been very stressed out lately, since he’s in a time crunch for his schooling. (He wants to go to medical school) he’s been mentioning a medical school in india, even though I’m against it. He hasn’t been answering the phone as much, he’s been neglecting my opinion on things, and just overall not thinking. I couldn’t get a hold of him until 3 days after he got home from a cruise becausehe was busy. There are many other things that just add on to the stress more, He tells me I still have a place in his life, and that he loves me, but his actions don’t reflect that.

What is your favorite spot in Hawaii?
I am sure a lot of you all have already been to Hawaii at least once or twice in your liftime. It/s still concidered as Paradise in this world for all the nice sandy beaches, palm trees, tropical climate, nice hotels, native feeling and so on… even though the western society has “modernized” it and influence it in a big way Hawaii is still magical spot to spend your vacation at.
I remember my first time landing at Honolulu International Airport coming from San Francisco, California (United, DC-10 in the old days). It was astonished by the scenery the island of Oahu made. It was a great imresion even though I’ve seen much of it watching Magnum P.I.
My way took me on to Maui which is one of the nicest of islands in the world I’ll tell you that. I enjoyed my time visiting Hana, Iao Needle, Lahaina and some other places. It was one of the best vacation for sure. The most exciting thing visiting Hana was meating Hilary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton (that was back in the 90′s when the Clintons were in the White House and the First lady and first daughter were visiting Hawaii while the President was travling to Mississippi during the flood). I just came from Europe and didn’t even realize we were sharing one of the Seven Natural pools in Hana. It was quite interesting.
For all of you who haven’t had the chance to visit the Paradise I urge you to do so soon. Of course the economy is not doing well atthe moment so traveling to Hawaii might wait a while. But let it be on your schedule for the future because it’s a complete must for every traveler to step on the soil of Magical Hawaii… Here you can also get some great and affordable Hotel Deals!
