I and my girlfriend are going to spend 9 days on Mahe between 24th, April & 3rd, May, 2007. We’ll stay at Plantation Club Hotel in a room that has a view of the Indian Ocean. We are solely interested in nature, swimming and taking pictures of the jungle and the wildlife, and will walk at least 20 kilometres a day. This will be our first tropical holiday, and we would like to inquire if anybody has been to the Seychelles, and if you had a couple of minutes to answer the following questions:
- What places (of nature) do you recommend we should visit?
- By what means of transportation is it worth travelling within the island of Mahe and between Mahe and Praslin and La Digue? Is it worth renting a car or do the buses suffice for the purpoise of exploring Mahe? Can you recommend an air service that is not terribly expensive or you think we should travel by ship to La Digue and Praslin?
- Which are the most scenic and exciting islands?
- Should we take EUR or USD with us, or get Rupees?
