The city has major tourist attractions such as Bibi-ka-Makbara, a tomb which has a similar look of Taj Mahal. Aurangabad has more importance with world heritage places Ajanta and Ellora. It has been listed by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Major tourist has their travel route to these places from Aurangabad. The city is also famous for its silk and cotton textiles. It is the administrative headquarter of Marathwada region. Aurangabad is very well connected to the major cities of India by all the means of travelling. It also has daily train service to the commercial capital of India, Mumbai.
