I am brazilian, planning a trip to the USA in June. I will have only one day in Los Angeles and the neighboring area. What are the best city attractions for a tourist in only one day? I’d like something good for tourists as I will be one! Thanks!!

ok so My 2 sisters and myself are planning a trip to new york city in may. The 3 of us each have our assignments mine is to find and book our hotel. I have never been and really don’t know anything about new york. What is a good area of the city where we wont be in like a bad neighborhood but will still be close to tourist attractions and stuff. again i really know nothing about the city so any info would be a great help!!!
