I think Minneapolis is one of the top ten cities in the U.S. It’s got the top rated city park system in the whole US, huge music scene, amazing nightlife and restaurants, the Mall of America, 4 amazingly different seasons, and literally countless other attractions…but you never hear anyone taking a vacation to Minneapolis….do you feel the same about where you live?
Haha, it’s actually on the top ten most underrated cities in the US that should be visited
Actually I am from San Francisco, but I am bringing my Italian boyfriend there for the first time. I feel overwhelmed with options for a first time visitor. What would you recommend besides the touristy Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown? Any hip nightclubs, bars or restaurants (I haven’t been out in a while though only 32)? I want to show him the best of my city without boring him with tourist attractions. Thanks so much.
I am Going to New York for some work in July and I have never been before. I am a young make up artist and I love fashion. Any ideas of stuff that I can do while I am there? Any stores I should check out, or restaurants I should go to, clubs, attractions, ect… Also any tips about the city, driving and weather or anything else you can think of!!!??? I want to be prepared and take advantage of New York! THANK YOU!
What could be done to bring about tourism along the river front downtown. Im thinking boats, restaurants, attractions, hotels…etc. If you look at other major cities that are along a water front or ocean, they have all the things I mentioned, and then some. Why doesn’t Detroit have that? I mean it would make sense to have something to generate the economy of the region and or city (because we all know we could use the business). For example in San Francisco the city receives 8.2 billion in tourism each year alone, due to the fact that most of their attractions are along the water front. Any GOOD IDEAS to generate tourism in Detroit to make people want to come here instead of leaving?
I am thinking about relocating after college, but I’m not sure exactly where I’d like to go. I’d like to get packets of information on restaurants, night life, attractions, live music, etc. Most of the cities have magazines, but you have to buy a subscription to them, I was hoping for either free or very cheap info! Thanks for your help!
I am planning a trip to Beijing, so I want to have a basic idea of what the city is like? Could you give me some recommendation on which attraction is most interesting, which restaurants serve food with good quality but low price, which hotel has the best location close to most of the tourist attractions. Where can i see the Beijing Opera at night?
As a foreigner in China, especially a tourist, do you need such PDA phone rental service with GPS, which can provide you with the city map , the discreption of the attractions and information about hotels and restaurants? How do you like it? Thanks very much.
